This page explains, in plain language, how we handle your privacy when you use FileConvertHub. The short version: nothing you convert ever leaves your device, we collect as little as possible, and we never sell anything.
Nothing you convert leaves your device
Every tool on FileConvertHub - text, number and unit converters as well as image, PDF and document converters - runs entirely in your browser, in JavaScript. Whatever you type, paste or drop in is never sent to a server: we never see it, and we never store it.
No analytics, no tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors. The only cookie we set is a functional one, i18n_redirected, which remembers the language you chose for one year; it identifies no one and is not used for tracking. We load no third-party scripts or fonts.
We don't collect accounts or payment details
You don't need to sign up to use FileConvertHub. We don't hold any user accounts, passwords, or payment information - because we never collect them.
Hosting and technical request data
FileConvertHub is served through Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare's network processes technical request data such as your IP address, acting as our hosting provider. We do not receive, store or analyse that data ourselves.
Sharing with third parties
We don't share or sell personal data with anyone. The only outside party involved is Cloudflare, our hosting provider, as described above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because we hold almost no personal data - no accounts, no analytics profiles, no uploaded files - most requests are answered simply by confirming that there is nothing to delete. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; we respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
FileConvertHub does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we'll remove it immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll update the date on this page whenever a meaningful change is made.
